The Tortoise Alphabet was my personal project that showcases my interest as a graphic designer. This humanized animal alphabet set is inspired by my favorite pets. The letters are created through observation of their movements and with a touch of my imagination on how they emulate human behaviors.
What I did
The project began with close observation of my tortoises’ natural movements, postures, and behaviors. I studied how they interacted with their environment, how their shells and limbs shifted as they moved, and even how their personalities subtly emerged through their actions. With these insights, I reimagined each letter of the alphabet as a playful interpretation of their form, incorporating a touch of human-like gestures and expressions to bring them to life.

The Tortoise Alphabet was a meaningful exploration of my artistic vision, reinforcing my ability to draw inspiration from the world around me and transform it into engaging, design-driven storytelling.
