Mr. Slope is a project rooted in my personal experience with surf-skating. Years ago, an injury forced me to step back from the sport, leaving me with a complex mix of love and frustration. This project became a way to process those emotions and channel them into something creative.
What I did
My design process for Mr. Slope began with hand-drawn sketches on my iPad, refining the character's features and form. Once the core visual was established, I explored its application across various merchandise, including stickers, t-shirts, caps, and posters, demonstrating how the brand could extend into tangible products.
